Brown was a top-25 national recruit out of Mater Dei who started as a true freshman at Alabama in 2024, playing 13 games with 18 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and a defensive touchdown. As a sophomore in 2025 he played 15 games with 38 tackles and two interceptions that he turned into 149 return yards and two scores, including a 99-yard pick-six against Tennessee and the game-tying return against Oklahoma in the CFP.
