Wein went from two tackles to second-team All-SEC in one calendar year, and that jump is the entire evaluation. He redshirted in 2023, played twelve games as a rotational body in 2024 with almost no production, then started eight of thirteen games in 2025 and put up 39 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, seven sacks and a forced fumble.
