"Ryan Wingo has been the guy Texas throws to when the play has to work, and the tape says the traits are still ahead of the production."
Ryan Wingo is a 6-2, 214-pound Texas wide receiver from St. Louis who arrived as a five-star and has been in the rotation since his true freshman year.
What he does well
- 01Run after catch — He catches slants and glances at full speed and runs through arm tackles, which is how a 15.4-yard average happens without a heavy deep-shot diet.
- 02Size at speed — At 6-2 and 214 he covers ground like a smaller receiver, and defenses have to account for him on the vertical stem of every route.
