Reynolds arrived at Penn State as the top-ranked tight end in the 2024 class and has spent two years being useful without being dominant: nine catches for 111 yards and a touchdown as a true freshman across 16 games with four starts, then 26 catches for 257 yards and no scores as a sophomore. The 9.9 yards per catch is the number that tells the story — he is being used underneath, in the flat and on quick outs, not down the seam where a former five-star is supposed to live.
