A three-star Lancaster (TX) product with legitimate track speed, Lacy barely played at Missouri — 23 carries for 104 yards across six games — before transferring to Ole Miss and becoming the nation's third-leading rusher in 2025 with 306 carries for 1,567 yards, 24 touchdowns and 29 receptions. He explored a move to LSU in January but re-signed with Ole Miss and enters 2026 on the Doak Walker, Maxwell and Walter Camp watch lists.
