Compare

"From the portal to the Coliseum: the Hawaiian arm that made USC's offense whole again."

A big-framed Hawaiian quarterback who took over at USC and delivered a 3,700-yard season, Maiava pairs a live arm with improving command of Lincoln Riley's offense.

What he does well
  • 01Arm elasticity and release angles — Maiava varies arm slots to evade defensive linemen, maintaining velocity on off-platform throws after pocket collapse.
  • 02Quick processing in RPO schemes — Displays instantaneous decision-making reading conflict defenders, executing mesh points with impeccable hand technique and efficiency.
