Sharpe signed with Indiana in 2022 as a three-star out of Miami Northwestern and waited: a quiet freshman year with one interception, nine games and 13 tackles in 2024, and then a starting role during the program's championship run. In 2025 he played 16 games with 36 solo tackles, five pass breakups, one interception and four forced fumbles — a strip number almost no corner reaches — and closed the national title game with the interception that sealed it against his hometown school.
