"Iapani Laloulu started every game at center for a College Football Playoff offense as a sophomore. Centers who look this comfortable this early are how offensive lines get built for a decade."
A four-star recruit and the top interior lineman out of Hawaii in the 2023 class, Laloulu played in 14 games as a true freshman at Oregon and has been the starting center ever since — 15 starts in 2025 for a playoff-caliber offense. At 6-2 and 325 pounds he is a broad-based technician with natural leverage, heavy hands and the pre-snap intelligence to sort blitzes for the whole front.
What he does well
- 01Elite balance and anchor power — He possesses an extremely wide base, allowing him to absorb initial contact from powerful bull-rushers without yielding ground.
- 02Dynamic pulling and mobility — Despite his 316 pounds, he moves through the backfield with unusual fluidity to execute pull or trap blocks effectively.
