Wilson wins with the first step, and it is a genuinely rare one. He times the snap as well as any edge in the class, and the burst off the line forces tackles to overset before they have finished their kick. From there he leans on speed-to-power and a corner he can actually turn: at 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds he bends through the arc without stalling, dips his inside shoulder and flattens to the quarterback rather than running himself past the pocket.
He is more willing against the run than his frame suggests. Missouri played him at the JACK and asked him to set an edge against SEC tight ends, and while he can be reached on down blocks he does not duck contact. His length shows up on the sack total and on batted balls at the line, and he chases from the backside with a motor that stays honest into the fourth quarter.
Attacking four-man front that lets him rush from a wide alignment on obvious passing downs instead of holding the point.

The résumé took three stops to arrive. He played 12 games as a Georgia freshman for four tackles, then 14 games as a sophomore for 22 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and two forced fumbles, still stuck in a rotation full of NFL players. The transfer to Missouri unlocked everything: 13 starts at JACK, 23 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, a team-high nine sacks and an interception against Vanderbilt. He transferred again for 2026, to Miami.
The concerns are technical rather than athletic. The move tree is short — speed rush, then speed-to-power, with the counter arriving after the tackle has already recovered. His hand usage is inconsistent, so he wears blocks instead of shedding them, and evaluators note the pressure total runs ahead of his down-to-down control. Two transfers in three years also means a third scheme in three seasons of real snaps.
The projection is a sub-package rusher immediately and a starting edge once the plan catches up to the athleticism. He belongs in an attacking four-man front that lets him pin his ears back on obvious passing downs rather than a two-gap system that asks him to hold the point. If Miami gets a counter move out of him this fall, he is a first-round athlete with first-round production.
