"Penn State has a long history of producing functional TEs, and Brahmer looks to be the next one. While he lacks the elite explosiveness to be a dynamic separator in the NFL, his reliable hands in traffic and willingness as a run blocker give him a very high floor. He projects as a solid TE2 with starter potential in heavy multi-personnel schemes."

Brahmer is 6-7 and 250 pounds and Iowa State used every inch of it. Three seasons in Ames produced 75 catches for 977 yards and nine touchdowns — fifth in program history among tight ends in both receptions and yards — and the 2025 year (37-446-6) got him second-team All-Big 12 and a John Mackey Award semifinalist nod.

What he does well
  • 01Catch radius — At 6-7 he turns contested throws into routine ones, extending outside his frame and above defensive backs who have no realistic path to the football.
  • 02Red zone value — Six touchdowns on 37 catches in 2025 is the profile of a target quarterbacks look for inside the twenty when the field shrinks and windows close.
