A four-star recruit from Tallahassee who played immediately at Clemson, Hampton posted 32 tackles, two interceptions and a defensive touchdown as a Freshman All-American in 2024, then followed with 45 tackles, ten pass breakups, an interception and a sack in 2025. He is 6-2 and 205 pounds with genuine press ability and the physicality to hold up in run support, and he enters 2026 as Clemson's clear number one corner.
