02Scheme fit
Ideal system
Special teams efficiency, focusing on consistent field goal kicking and reliable extra points.
Field Goal KickerExtra Point Specialist
Best role
Year 1 starting placekicker, with the ceiling to be a long-term reliable scorer from within 50 yards.
Wrong fit
A team heavily reliant on long-distance, 50+ yard field goals in a dome stadium.
A scheme prioritizing accuracy and consistency over exceptional range will best utilize Freese's skill set.
