Mensah and Mestemaker Headline Week Eight Quarterback Performances
Darian Mensah and Drew Mestemaker post massive passing numbers as top quarterback prospects clash across the week eight schedule.
The movements
There is no formal stock report this week. Instead, we evaluate the quarterback clash between Arch Manning (#21) and Trinidad Chambliss (#16) from the Texas victory over Ole Miss. Manning produced a mixed passing line, going 18 of 30 for 212 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. His two rushing touchdowns contributed to the 34-27 win, but the full ball-security ledger also includes a lost fumble.
Winning the game does not erase three giveaways; scoring twice on the ground does not make the passing evaluation clean.
